  • Result: Tokenized over 1000 credit cards providing user payment security, and increased revenue month-over-month by 75%.

EDI: DocuSign Integration

Domain: Environmental Governance

This project required a 3rd party invitation from Microsoft Dynamics to solve the onboarding agreements before a partner can work with the company and obtain their documents for governmental compliance.

  • Situation: The manual onboarding documentation required multiple signees and was not accessible to the departments that required them directly, the team had to contact another department to retrieve the documents. The objective is to make the documents readily available to the internal users and to the correct partners for regulation compliance. This project was an onboarding project where the customers and business require a signed agreement.
  • Task: Elicit Requirements from the business, Design workflows to automate the approval process, prioritize tasks, select business users for UAT, and document all aspects of the project.
  • Action: First facilitated meetings with the business to identify the current documentation process, Second build a visio workflow to map the current and future process for the automated events, Created user stories with acceptance criteria and prioritizing tasks in JIRA with the development team, and facilitating UAT sessions with users internal and external.
  • Result: Improved data capture accuracy by 65%, and Documentation automation increased onboarding process by 50%.

Funding Approval Automation

Domain: Real Estate

This project required a multiple 3rd party integration with Microsoft Dynamics to manage the funding approval process so that the recording of inspections, verification and funding can be automated.

  • Situation: The current reordering process was manual and required spreadsheet manipulation and lots of phone activity upon each agent associated to the department. The issue occurred after purchasing homes an inspection was required to receive approved funding from the partners such as Credit Suisse, Great Plains, and Bank of American to name a few. This process needed to occur every 30, 60 and 90 days from date of purchase. If this process was not completed within the given date or time then the company would be fined until this process was completed. Which included legal ramifications that could hinder future funding approvals.
  • Task: Identify the risks, dependencies, users, and gaps in the current process. Elicit requirements from the business, Contact the vendors to identify the security and API events that require communication through the automated workflow, Design the user screens in Microsoft Dynamics with current and custom field names and data types.
  • Action: First facilitated meetings with the business to identify the current process and document the process, Second build a visio workflow to map the current and future process. Third identify each event within the inspection, funding, approval and rejectiong process. Wrote user stories with acceptance criteria and test cases in JIRA. Prioritizing and estimating the stories with the development team.
  • Result: Improved process times with triggered events to meet the inspection deadline and triggered reinspections events to occur automatically every 30, 60, and 90 days. This integration mimized the approval times by 85% which assisted with eliminating fines for late inspections.

Call Tracking Creation Integration

Domain: Automotive

The ability to activate call tracking numbers automatically and assign them to the client, so that the phone number is active and ready for use for the client after the clients inventory has been uploaded to the DMS (Dealer Management System).

  • Situation: Creating call tracking numbers, testing, then placing on the customer site was a manual process. Required one individual to create 300 to 1000 new call tracking records each day which took an individual 2 to 3 days to complete.
  • Task: An RFP, Scorecard, vendor interviews, elicit requirements, document process, map workflows, vendor selection, identify risks, gaps, and dependencies on both internal and external users and vendors side of the process.
  • Action: Scheduled meetings with internal and external teams, vendors, and users. Configured environments creating custom fields for development in the dealer management system, created process maps, wrote user stories, acceptance criteria and support documentation along with facilitating UAT sessions with selected internal and external users. Facilitate user training webinars each week for sales and customers.
  • Result: The time from creation activation of 1000's of call tracking numbers decreased from 3 days to 1 hour due to providing an ability for bulk activation. It was no longer up to one person to create the numbers, now sales could enter the customers number into the DMS tool hit a button and it will make an API call to the vendor to send back a number attached to the primary number which was an immediate activation for the customer.

Systems & Tools

In the IT domain I have had the priviledge of working in many systems to provide user and process functionality and innovation. The tools that were used to complete and/or manage the projects are just as vital to delivering quality and efficiency through the project.

Salesforce

As a user, administrator, and integration analyst. An example project with Salesforce required a utilities activation request from Salesforce to Yardi to request vendor assistance and document activation and deactivation. The companies were AutoTrader.com, Firstkey Homes, and Cox Communication.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

As a user, administrator, and integration analyst. An example project with MS-D365 required an integration with a 3rd party company Outreach.io so that Sales can manage their follow-ups, and communications between clients to manage customer experience. The companies were AutoTrader.com, Firstkey Homes, Protective Life, Safeguard Products, and Rush Enterprises.

Atlassian: JIRA/Confluence

As a user, administrator, and project manager/scrum master. I had the responsibility of creating workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation. The companies were Firstkey Homes, Safeguard PRoducts, MemberSuite, and Charles Schwab.

SQL/PostgreSQL

As a integration and quality analyst, verifying the data has moved through all stages of the business process is key to system integrity and validation for all companies. I had the opportunity with PostgreSQL to assist training a team of 8 BA's on how to create queries.

Lucid Charts, Visio, and PowerPoint

As a Business Analyst when writing requirements that contain system loops from data point to data point diagrams are used to map the process from end to end. As an example I used PowerPoint for meetings and also to build out a prototype on function, feature, and UI so that the offshore team would understand the functionality change within the systems. All companies required this skill.

Graphs and Reporting

As a project manager/scrum master, I was responsible for creating reports for project milestones, release notes, data visualization reports, and dashboards for user management. I especially used these skills and tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel Pivot Tables with Cox Communications, Firstkey Homes, and Charles Schwab.
